Winch Key Switches

gym equipment controls

Key switches available in single gang through 10 gang options.

Commonly used to operate winches on basketball backstops, batting cages, gym curtains and more.

These switches are controlled with momentary contact, 3 position (on-off-on) flush mount key switches. Switches are spring loaded to automatically return to the off position. UL recognized and rated at 25 amps, up to 277 volts and 1 HP at 125 volts. Stainless steel cover plates and extend no more than ¼” beyond cover plate.

Should only be used with instantly reversing motors and should be mounted in a position so that the user has full view of equipment during operation.

Wireless Remote Control

Plug and play remote control transmitter and receiver for raising and lowering of basketball backstops, gym divider curtains, batting cages, backboard height adjusters and more.

This system gives the ability to run gym equipment while standing next to it instead of standing  across a gym.  This gives the operator better visual control to see the equipment and to see that no one/or thing is in the way of the equipment.

Receiver operates on 120V AC power. The wireless hand held transmitter is capable of operating up to 99 individual receivers.  Each receiver can run a winch with a rating of up to 1 HP. The receiver offers the ability to wire in a key switch for a backup. Operating range  of the wireless hand held transmitter is approximately 100′.

Touch Pad Controller

Jaypro Mec2

no keys

Eliminate the need for keys and has the ability to operate a large  number of gymnasium components including basketball backstops, gym divider curtains, baseball batting cages and electric height adjusters as well as lights, PA systems, score boards etc… (not intended for bleachers).

Typically safer than key switches because it brings only 24 volts to floor level as opposed to key switches that use 110 volts. Use multiple log-ins with tiered access levels that can be changed at any time to prevent unsupervised use.

One system includes one “touch pad” and one relay box that operates up to eight (8) gymnasium components and two continuous 15 amp auxiliary services for lights, PA systems, score boards etc… Each additional relay box operates an additional eight components and two auxiliary services for a total of up to 128 gymnasium components and 32 auxiliary components.

Components may be operated individually or in groups of up to 8 components. Up to 20 groups per keypad and up to 8 components per board may be grouped. Multiple touch pads may be installed throughout the gymnasium for ease of access and control in large facilities.
